The Pacers basketball and volleyball teams play their home games
at the Hermann Student Center. The facility, built in 1963, was
recently renovated thanks to a generous gift from Fay Anderson
('54). The gift allowed the addition of new showers in the women's
locker room, a fresh coat of paint in the home team locker room,
gym area and foyer, and new carpet in the foyer and home team
locker room. The Hermann Center also houses a pool, a dance studio,
a classroom, and the athletic training room.

The Pacer tennis teams play their home matches at the Ragland
Tennis Courts. In 1966 the Ragland family funded three all-weather
tennis courts, in 1973 provided two additional lighted courts, and
in 1977, provided a sixth lighted court. In 2004, the Ragland
family sponsored the renewal of the Ragland Courts with
resurfacing, new windscreens, fencing and landscaping.

| The Wachovia Athletic Park
|

|
|
Peace College gave new life to the athletics program by adding
fastpitch softball in the fall of 1998. The college community
partnered with Wachovia Bank to raise the funds for this new
fastpitch softball showcase. Construction on outfield fencing and
infield terrain began fall of 1999 to ready the home field in time
for the 2000 spring season.
The facility includes a field house with locker rooms,
restrooms, an equipment room and coach's office. Enclosed dugouts
with a scorer's booth highlight the first and third baseline.
Spectator seating brings our fans up close under the generous shade
of tall oak trees.
The field dimensions are a right hitter's dream with a short
left field (190 feet) but balloons out to 215 feet in the middle.
Our 12 feet right field wall is the signature feature of the field
as our own Green Monster running down the sideline. A
state of the art sprinkler system feeds the Bermuda grass outfield.
The batting cage and bullpen highlight the area beyond center
field.
