Kelly McEleney enters her second season this fall as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Peace College. Her return this fall offers Peace stability and consistency important for the young Pacer squad. The Pacers added a conference win last season and look to build on that success with another year of experience.

McEleney enjoyed a successful collegiate career at NCAA Division II Barton College. At Barton, McEleney was a two-year starter who played center half and stopper and led the Lady Bulldogs to the 2001 Carolina Virginia’s Athletic Conference Championship. McEleney also served as the soccer representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

McEleney received her Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Criminal Justice and Criminology in 2005 from Barton College. McEleney is currently working toward her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at North Carolina Central University.

Prior to joining the Peace College athletics staff, McEleney served as the head coach for the twelve and under girls’ team with the Wilson Youth Soccer Association for two seasons. She also assisted with the Community Christian School team in Wilson and Magellan Charter School in Raleigh. McEleney worked numerous soccer camps with the Wilson Family YMCA and Barton College.

Patterson continues her roll as Assistant Women's Soccer Coach this fall. She was a four-year starter at NCAA DII Barton College as a forward and sweeper. The Bulldogs won the 2001 Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference Championship. Patterson received all-conference honorable mention for her final three-years of pay and served as a senior captain.

Patterson earned a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a minor in Psychology in 2005. She is currently attending Barton's Teacher Licensure program while coaching for the Pacers.
