Peace Softball Slated for Local Tournament

Raleigh, NC-The Peace College softball squad will participate locally in the Wolfpack Fall Challenge in October as part of their nontraditional season.  All games will be played at Dail Softball Stadium near Reynolds coliseum on the NC State campus.  Admission to the event is free.

Peace opens the tournament Saturday, October 3, versus Queens College from Charlotte.  First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 am.  The Pacers face Winston-Salem State University in the nightcap scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.  Both teams are NCAA Division II members.

The team opens their regular season in February hosting Shaw University on Valentine's Day.  Mark your calendars for this doubleheader action slated for a 1:00 pm start.  See you on the sidelines!
